This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Take the lead on intricate programs that consist of several projects and workstreams independently.
• Proactively identify and address potential risks.
• Oversee interdependencies and foster alignment among a variety of stakeholder groups.
• Manage the entire project life cycle, which includes assessing requirements, planning and scheduling projects, allocating resources, budgeting, execution, deployment, and closure.
• Utilize corporate and industry-standard project management methodologies and tools.
• Support the establishment and upkeep of corporate project management methodologies and departmental protocols.
• Keep comprehensive project documentation, which comprises meeting minutes, action items, issues lists, and risk management plans.
• Lead and relay project status updates to stakeholders and external organizations.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to secure resources, resolve challenges, and mitigate risks.
• Oversee the performance of external vendors, including governance, SLAs, KPIs, deliverables, escalations, remediation plans, and governance meetings.
• Take into account operational readiness, handoffs, control mechanisms, sustainability, and the impact on customers/members post-implementation.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of project management experience with departmental-specific projects.
• Prior experience in a leadership role within a functional area.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams on large-scale projects or supervisory experience, which includes hiring, training, delegating tasks, and managing staff performance.
• Proficient in MS-Office applications.
• Experience in the healthcare sector.
• Managed care experience is preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in leading complex, cross-functional projects or programs from initiation through to implementation and stabilization.
• Experience in managing external vendors, including performance management, SLAs, KPIs, deliverables, contractual obligations, service issues, escalations, remediation plans, and governance meetings.
• Strong operational mindset.
• Vendor Governance and Business Operations experience is advantageous.
