This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovenia.
• Take charge of the strategy and implementation to ensure the company's ERP system fosters growth and enhances efficiency.
• Collect expectations from various functions and oversee the ERP development and adoption roadmap.
• Act as the main contact for the CFO, COO, and executives concerning NetSuite capabilities and priorities.
• Convert conflicting priorities into a unified prioritized backlog.
• Manage both internal and external resources, which include the NetSuite Specialist and managed-services partners.
• Transform business requirements into a clear technical backlog and evaluate the delivered work.
• Determine which projects to pursue and the sequence in which they will be executed.
• Develop an onboarding and development plan for functions that are not yet utilizing the system.
• Oversee vendors, partners, governance, budget, and make decisions regarding build versus buy.
• Ensure the stability of the current system, especially during peak seasons.
• Manage change control that impacts financial statements or closed periods, including obtaining stakeholder sign-off and timing.
• Establish the working cadence and guarantee that knowledge is documented in runbooks.
• Propel predictable monthly close, adoption, and efficiency throughout the business.
• Demonstrated experience as the end-to-end business owner of an ERP system, preferably NetSuite, in a lean startup or scale-up setting without a large support team.
• Strong overall understanding of business operations across finance, supply chain, operations, and sales channels.
• Ability to assess what needs fixing and convert it into actionable requirements for technical implementation.
• Background in consumer products, e-commerce, or hardware businesses selling across multiple channels, including proprietary webshops, marketplaces like Amazon, and retail partners.
• Ideally experienced with subscriptions and managing a system through peak seasons without regression.
• Pragmatic and realistic approach; capable of diagnosing issues before proposing solutions and articulating the business rationale for changes.
• Experience exercising authority over vendors and budget and making build-versus-buy decisions.
• 8+ years of experience, with several years dedicated to owning or leading a system, program, or team.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite OneWorld, including multi-subsidiary and multi-currency management (preferable).
• Background in product management (preferable).
