Project Manager – Intermediate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist the Release Delivery Lead with the daily execution of releases.

• Serve as a key link between the Release Delivery team and the Integrated Planning & Delivery function.

• Oversee planning and scheduling at the release level.

• Keep plans accurate and proactively raise any risks, issues, or discrepancies.

• Act as the primary planning liaison for the Delivery Lead.

• Offer updates on status, track progress, and manage reporting.

• Ensure that activities, milestones, and dependencies of workstreams are represented in the integrated program plan.

• Assist Delivery Leads with coordination, tracking, reporting, and follow-up tasks.

• Organize release planning and status meetings.

• Propel action items forward and ensure accountability for commitments.

• Generate status reports and delivery metrics for workstream and program levels.

• Maintain release backlogs, work items, and reporting in Azure DevOps or similar tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A current Government of Canada Reliability Status security clearance or higher is required at the time of application.

• Eligibility for Secret clearance is preferred.

• Experience in supporting program, project, or release delivery in a planning, coordination, or PMO role.

• Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and tracking progress.

• Knowledge of integrated planning and dependency management across various teams.

• Capability to identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and impacts on delivery.

• Proficient in Azure DevOps (ADO), MS Project, or similar project management tools.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder coordination abilities.

• Highly organized and detail-focused.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
