This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the planning, organization, and management of large-scale technology projects;
• Coordinate the efforts of multidisciplinary teams engaged in projects;
• Create and sustain project plans, timelines, and dashboards;
• Administer budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies;
• Engage in governance activities and participate in steering committees;
• Assist teams during organizational transformations and Agile transitions;
• Aid in the establishment of product teams and collaborative governance structures;
• Contribute to the deployment and advancement of technology solutions;
• Generate progress reports and accountability documentation for stakeholders;
• Provide guidance to decision-makers on the planning and prioritization of initiatives;
• Formulate and execute project-specific communication strategies;
• Facilitate workshops, coordination meetings, and engagement sessions.
• Possess a degree in computer science, information technology management, engineering, or a related field;
• At least ten (10) years of pertinent experience in IT project management;
• Proven experience managing projects in complex environments;
• Experience in organizational transformation, including Agile transitions, establishing product teams, and collaborative governance;
• Demonstrated experience overseeing programs or portfolios of complex, interdependent projects;
• Involvement in the deployment or evolution of technology solutions, such as Microsoft 365 or Windows environments;
• Proficient in project governance, budget management, risk analysis, and accountability;
• Expertise in traditional, agile, or hybrid project management methodologies;
• Capability to coordinate stakeholders across various business and technology domains;
• Exceptional synthesis, communication, and strategic document writing skills;
• Strong understanding of IT governance issues;
• Proven leadership, autonomy, diligence, and a collaborative mindset.
