This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee large-scale, cross-functional Health IT and EHR deployment initiatives from inception to completion.
• Create detailed, end-to-end project plans and execution frameworks for programs with unclear scope and changing ownership structures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional leadership teams to align on priorities, objectives, timelines, and execution strategies.
• Develop and maintain intricate integrated project schedules using MS Project.
• Implement repeatable and scalable governance models, execution processes, reporting frameworks, and program management standards.
• Perform thorough risk assessments across complex project plans and proactively address delivery risks and bottlenecks.
• Propel execution in low process maturity client environments while guiding decision-making across various stakeholders and vendors.
• Enable communication and coordination among internal teams, client leadership, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
• Convert broad program requirements and operational challenges into actionable workstreams and measurable execution strategies.
• Analyze data, determine root causes, and connect cross-functional dependencies to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Anticipate potential issues and resolve problems prior to their impact on program delivery.
• Provide succinct, executive-level communications that distill complex information into actionable recommendations and impactful outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience in Health IT, healthcare technology, or EHR deployment settings.
• Proven experience in leading enterprise-scale, complex, cross-functional implementations.
• Established expertise in developing and managing large integrated project schedules with MS Project.
• Strong background in highly matrixed, client-facing, and multi-vendor delivery environments.
• Experience navigating ambiguous program structures and providing clarity through structured execution planning.
• Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and align various organizations with differing levels of project management maturity.
• Strong capabilities in risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively engaging at both executive and operational levels.
• Proven end-to-end ownership mentality with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently prioritize, execute, and achieve results with minimal oversight.
• Eligibility for obtaining Public Trust clearance.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise EHR implementations (such as Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, or similar platforms) is preferred.
• Familiarity with establishing PMO governance structures or transformation offices is preferred.
• Consulting experience in supporting healthcare system transformations is preferred.
