This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive successful project outcomes from preconstruction to final closeout.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality programs on the job site.
• Engage in bidding processes and pre-construction services.
• Act as the primary contact for clients on behalf of Graycor.
• Facilitate communication with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and local union representatives.
• Oversee professional support staff, including Project Engineers, Field Superintendents, and administrative personnel.
• Manage the project budget, timeline, and profitability effectively.
• Execute contracts and purchase orders.
• Approve invoices and change requests from subcontractors.
• Negotiate contract modifications with clients.
• Fulfill project close-out requirements.
• Mentor and guide Project Engineers.
• Participate in committees and propose initiatives related to Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement Programs, and Lean Construction.
• Implement innovative ideas and adapt to new company policies.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in heavy industrial construction operations within the steel and metal production sectors.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Strong leadership qualities with an ambition to achieve success.
• Excellent communication skills to inspire your team, assign tasks, and present proposals to clients with assurance and clarity.
• Capability to engage with highly technical professionals.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in multitasking with urgency while maintaining a keen attention to detail and precision.
• Knowledge of a “self-perform” project setting.
