Project Manager – High Voltage Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee high-voltage service projects from the handover of orders through to execution, delivery confirmation, and invoicing.

• Facilitate coordination among sales, field operations, and clients.

• Manage project documentation, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Assist with installation tasks for large GIS substations.

• Organize material delivery, field service timelines, and contractor activities.

• Maintain communication with customers regarding project progress, scheduling, and closeout requirements.

• Address project clarifications and assist in resolving issues across departments.

• Ensure completion of project documentation and financial processes.

• Validate order accuracy and aid in the handoff process with technical sales.

• Keep service order documentation updated in SAP.

• Coordinate the transition of projects to field service operations and confirm resource availability.

• Plan and sequence installation activities for GIS substations, including equipment delivery, erection, and testing.

• Lead on-site execution involving field crews, contractors, and technical advisors during installation and energization.

• Monitor material delivery timelines and coordinate shipments.

• Manage invoicing, follow up on accounts receivable, and resolve customer disputes.

• Ensure adherence to relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess work authorization that allows employment with Hitachi Energy in the United States.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is necessary.

• Experience in the installation and commissioning of large GIS substation projects, including multi-bay layouts, gas handling, and high-voltage field testing.

• Understanding of high-voltage products, services, and their applications.

• Proficiency in SAP, including Fiori and Cockpit modules.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted project management tools is advantageous.

• Willingness to travel occasionally is required.
