Project Manager, Ground Up Restaurant/Retail

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Responsible for on-site management of construction projects.

• Oversees and coordinates the project team's activities to ensure timely progress and adherence to budget constraints.

• Effectively communicates any project-related concerns directly with the Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Director.

• Reviews construction documentation, including drawings, schedules, and scopes, to ensure they are complete and accurate.

• Analyzes bid results, specifications, test reports, progress updates, and other project information to gain comprehensive knowledge of the project.

• Verifies and confirms all permitting requirements associated with the project or program.

• Directly oversees and monitors project activities in the field.

• Diligently manages project change orders.

• Adheres to established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.

• Prepares and submits weekly status reports on project progress.

• Proactively identifies and addresses or escalates project issues related to cost, schedule, safety, or quality.

• Represents the company during project meetings.

• Cultivates and maintains relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors, and vendors to identify new opportunities.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a 4-year degree in an accredited construction-related program or equivalent; or 7-10+ years of relevant experience in QSR/Kitchen retail construction project management.

• Ground-up construction experience is highly preferred and essential.

• Strong understanding of multi-site program management.

• Proficient in construction processes, including pre-construction, permitting, scheduling, and project closeout.
