Project Manager – Fiserv DNA Core Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee the mapping of products between legacy banking offerings and future-state product frameworks.

• Facilitate decisions regarding product consolidation, migration strategies, and configurations for new products.

• Lead the planning and execution of field-to-field data mapping and conversion processes.

• Identify dependencies between upstream and downstream systems in collaboration with technology and data teams.

• Develop and oversee plans for data validation, testing, reconciliation, and quality assurance.

• Coordinate mock conversions and rehearsal sessions for the conversion process.

• Monitor conversion defects and drive their resolution.

• Lead the planning for readiness and execution of production cutover.

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of core banking conversion and data migration workstreams.

• Oversee integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decision logs.

• Drive project execution from initiation to closure in compliance with governance standards.

• Coordinate efforts among business, technology, data, and vendor teams.

• Provide executive-level updates on project health, timelines, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.

• Manage multiple simultaneous initiatives within a broader transformation program.

• Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, analysts, consultants, and external vendors.

• Facilitate steering committee meetings and governance reviews.

• Oversee stakeholder communication plans and status reporting.

• Review project documentation, deliverables, and vendor statements of work.

• Foster accountability across teams without direct reporting authority.

• Manage project budgets, forecasts, invoices, and financial reporting.

• Create and maintain resource plans, schedules, and staffing requirements.

• Monitor project performance against established objectives and delivery commitments.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 7 years of experience leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives in banking, credit unions, or financial services.

• Over 5 years of experience managing core banking conversions, enterprise data migrations, and programs involving mergers, acquisitions, or integrations.

• Proven experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Demonstrated success in managing highly complex project plans with numerous cross-functional dependencies.

• Strong background in project governance, risk management, and stakeholder management.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with the Fiserv DNA Core Banking platform.

• Background in large-scale data migration and data conversion projects.
