Project Manager Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for project delivery from start to finish, encompassing planning, scheduling, budgeting, and processes.

• Oversee and synchronize multiple simultaneous projects to ensure they are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Develop, document, and continually enhance project management systems and processes across Creative, Web, Paid Media, SEO, and other service areas.

• Manage project budgets and collaborate with finance to assess project and client profitability.

• Handle resource and capacity planning for several concurrent projects and teams.

• Identify staffing shortages or bottlenecks before they pose delivery risks.

• Collaborate with proposal teams to create cost estimates and project plans that align with client requirements and internal capabilities.

• Educate teams on processes and promote their adoption.

• Facilitate collaboration across departments and ensure smooth transitions.

• Clearly and proactively communicate project status to stakeholders.

• Link project execution to company objectives and agency-level outcomes.

• Engage in interview stages, including budget analysis, prioritization, or process-design activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.

• At least 5 years of experience in an agency environment, preferably across various service lines (Creative, Web, Paid Media, SEO).

• Proven experience in building or revamping project management systems and processes.

• Strong financial literacy, including the ability to analyze budgets, margins, and project profitability.

• Experience in resource and capacity management for multiple concurrent projects.

• A clear perspective on how project work should be conducted, along with the confidence to advocate for it.

• Proficiency in Asana is required.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and team leadership skills.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and productivity AI tools.

• Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Experience managing project management systems for clients in higher education, nonprofit, or healthcare sectors is advantageous.

• Previous experience in formally training teams on project management methodologies is a plus.

• Experience presenting financial or project performance data to leadership is beneficial.

• A background that combines both project management and finance/operations in an agency setting is a plus.
