This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
β’ Monitor engine activities throughout sprints and releases, ensuring issues, milestones, and roadmaps are kept up-to-date.
β’ Facilitate or assist with stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across different time zones, primarily in an asynchronous manner.
β’ Coordinate communication among the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA to ensure dependencies are identified early.
β’ Compose clear status updates, release notes, and summaries of meetings.
β’ Assist in triaging bug reports and user feedback, directing them to the right engineers.
β’ Proactively identify risks and blockers and support the team in resolving them.
β’ Keep internal documentation and processes organized and user-friendly.
β’ Assist the Keet engine team in developing peer-to-peer connectivity, data replication, room synchronization, calls, and file transfers.
β’ 1β2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role; internships and contributions to open-source projects are included.
β’ Exceptional written communication skills in English.
β’ Capability to articulate technical progress in a clear and concise manner.
β’ Highly organized, with an acute attention to detail and a strong follow-through.
β’ Comfortable collaborating with engineers and rapidly grasping technical concepts.
β’ Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear.
β’ A self-motivated individual who excels in a fully remote, asynchronous team setting.
β’ Preferred: Basic knowledge of networking or distributed systems concepts, including P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, and replication.
β’ Preferred: Understanding of software development lifecycles, Git, and release processes.
β’ Preferred: Some exposure to JavaScript/Node.js or experience working closely with a development team.
β’ Preferred: Interest in privacy, decentralization, or open-source software.
β’ Preferred: Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies or relevant certifications like PSM or CAPM.
β’ Preferred: Experience collaborating across multiple time zones.
