This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.
β’ Monitor engine activities throughout sprints and releases, ensuring that issues, milestones, and roadmaps are up-to-date.
β’ Facilitate or assist in stand-ups, planning meetings, and retrospectives across various time zones, primarily in an asynchronous manner.
β’ Liaise between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA to ensure early visibility of dependencies.
β’ Prepare status updates, release notes, and summaries for meetings.
β’ Assist in triaging bug reports and user feedback, directing them to the relevant engineers.
β’ Proactively identify risks and obstacles, aiding the team in their resolution.
β’ Keep internal documentation and processes organized and easy to navigate.
β’ Support the progress of the Keet engine team's work through peer connections, data replication, room synchronization, calls, and file transfers.
β’ 1β2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role; internships and contributions to open-source projects are considered.
β’ Exceptional written communication skills in English.
β’ Capability to articulate technical advancements clearly and succinctly.
β’ Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and strong follow-through.
β’ Comfortable collaborating with engineers and quickly grasping technical concepts.
β’ Familiarity with issue trackers and project management tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear.
β’ Self-motivated individual who excels in a fully remote, asynchronous team environment.
β’ Preferred: foundational knowledge of networking or distributed systems concepts, including P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, and replication.
β’ Preferred: understanding of software development lifecycles, Git, and release processes.
β’ Preferred: experience with JavaScript/Node.js or collaborating closely with a development team.
β’ Preferred: interest in privacy, decentralization, or open-source software.
β’ Preferred: knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies or certifications such as PSM or CAPM.
β’ Preferred: experience collaborating across multiple time zones.
