Junior Project Manager – Keet P2P

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Monitor engine tasks throughout sprints and releases, ensuring that issues, milestones, and roadmaps are up to date.

• Facilitate or assist with stand-ups, planning meetings, and retrospectives across different time zones, primarily in an asynchronous manner.

• Collaborate with the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA to ensure early visibility of dependencies.

• Compose status updates, release notes, and summaries of meetings.

• Aid in triaging bug reports and user feedback, directing them to the relevant engineers.

• Recognize risks and obstacles early on and assist the team in addressing them.

• Maintain internal documentation and processes effectively.

• Support the globally distributed Keet engine team in delivering dependable peer connections, data replication, room synchronization, calls, and file transfers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role; internships and open-source contributions are also considered.

• Exceptional written English communication skills; ability to articulate technical progress in a clear and concise manner.

• Highly organized, with a keen attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.

• Comfortable collaborating with engineers and quickly grasping technical concepts.

• Proficient in using issue trackers and project management tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear.

• Self-motivated individual who excels in a fully remote, async-first environment.

• Basic knowledge of networking or distributed systems concepts, including P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, and replication.

• Familiarity with software development lifecycles, Git, and release processes.

• Some experience with JavaScript/Node.js or working alongside a development team.

• Interest in privacy, decentralization, or open-source software.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies or possession of a certification such as PSM or CAPM.

• Experience collaborating across multiple time zones.
