This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.
β’ Monitor engine activities throughout sprints and releases, ensuring that issues, milestones, and roadmaps are up to date.
β’ Facilitate or assist in stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across different time zones, primarily in an asynchronous manner.
β’ Liaise between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA to ensure that dependencies are identified early.
β’ Craft concise status updates, release notes, and summaries of meetings.
β’ Aid in the triage of bug reports and user feedback, directing them to the relevant engineers.
β’ Recognize risks and blockers promptly and assist the team in finding resolutions.
β’ Uphold internal documentation and processes to ensure they are organized and easy to navigate.
β’ Support the Keet engine team in areas such as peer connections, data replication, room synchronization, calls, and file transfers.
β’ 1β2 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a related field; internships and contributions to open-source projects are considered.
β’ Exceptional written communication skills in English; capable of clearly and succinctly conveying technical progress.
β’ Highly organized, exhibiting strong attention to detail and a commitment to follow-through.
β’ Comfortable engaging with engineers and rapidly assimilating technical concepts.
β’ Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear.
β’ A self-motivated individual who excels in a fully remote, async-first environment.
β’ Preferred: basic understanding of networking or distributed systems concepts, including P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, and replication.
β’ Preferred: knowledge of software development lifecycles, Git, and release procedures.
β’ Preferred: experience with JavaScript/Node.js or collaboration with a development team.
β’ Preferred: interest in privacy, decentralization, or open-source software.
β’ Preferred: knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies or certifications such as PSM or CAPM.
β’ Preferred: experience collaborating across multiple time zones.
