This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee intricate cross-functional consumer product programs, encompassing new product development, packaging, and ongoing initiatives from concept to market launch.
• Collaborate with teams in industrial design, engineering, marketing, and supply chain to establish product requirements, priorities, scope, budget, and timelines.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks while proactively addressing obstacles.
• Integrate feedback from mothers throughout the development process to reflect the voice of the customer.
• Coordinate readiness for packaging, retail, and direct-to-consumer launches, including go-to-market timelines and cross-functional launch reviews.
• Formulate recommendations, achieve consensus, and facilitate decision-making among engineering, marketing, and operations stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and contract manufacturers in collaboration with the supply chain to guarantee timely and quality delivery.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in project or program management within consumer products or consumer electronics.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in guiding consumer hardware or CPG products through the entire lifecycle, from concept to retail or DTC launch and ongoing support.
• Experience collaborating with marketing, industrial design, and supply chain teams to ensure products are launched punctually and within budget.
• Familiarity with the maternal health, baby, or wellness product sectors is advantageous.
• Proficient in utilizing Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence for project management, analysis, and reporting.
• Capability to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to diverse audiences at all organizational levels.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and motivation.
• Agile project management style, with a focus on approach and execution.
• Solid understanding of project management software tools like SmartSheet and JIRA/Atlassian, along with methodologies and best practices.
• PMP or PgMP certification is preferred.
