Project Manager, Construction – Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a multidisciplinary project team.

• Facilitate design and construction meetings with external professionals, internal staff, and clients.

• Create and manage comprehensive schedules and capital budgets in collaboration with business clients, Real Estate, and Finance departments.

• Implement procurement strategies to handle bid processes, change orders, and payments effectively.

• Supervise commissioning and integrated testing of intricate mechanical, electrical, and IT systems.

• Develop and review Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Perform audits on installed data center components.

• Confirm the completion of vendor job scopes and validate design documentation.

• Ensure compliance with building codes and NFPA standards.

• Assist in maintaining a safe working environment and achieving 99.999% product uptime.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in delivering construction projects and engaging with clients in a corporate real estate or military environment.

• Extensive design, operational, or construction expertise in critical infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of real estate budgeting, accounting, contract management, and vendor oversight.

• Outstanding negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication abilities.

• Capability to influence stakeholders, manage multiple deadlines, and cultivate trusting client relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or Business/Finance.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
