Project Manager BESS – Europe

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee the on-site execution of BESS projects throughout Europe.

• Supervise installation processes and ensure adherence to approved project plans, schedules, and technical specifications.

• Track project progress and escalate any risks, delays, technical challenges, or quality issues.

• Facilitate coordination among internal and external stakeholders during execution.

• Serve as the main technical coordination point on-site throughout installation and commissioning phases.

• Verify the implementation of sanctioned electrical designs, technical specifications, and system requirements.

• Analyze and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, system layouts, and technical documentation.

• Assist in resolving technical challenges that arise during installation and commissioning.

• Oversee the work of installation contractors and subcontractors.

• Coordinate with customers, EPCs, contractors, Technical Service teams, and Presales teams.

• Examine project contracts and convert requirements into actionable project tasks.

• Monitor contractual deliverables, milestones, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and handover necessities.

• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and acceptance processes.

• Ensure project documentation is thorough, well-maintained, and appropriately transferred.

• Contribute to lessons learned and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Ensure compliance with technical, electrical, quality, and safety regulations.

• Coordinate with factory, logistics, and project stakeholders for compliant testing, shipping, and delivery.

• Document project progress, observations, deviations, corrective measures, and site reports.

• Advocate for safe working practices across all project sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.

• Generally, 2-6 years of experience in project execution, site coordination, installation management, commissioning, or technical project delivery within the energy sector.

• Hands-on experience supporting BESS, ESS, PV, power infrastructure, substation, or electrical installation projects.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Experience collaborating with contractors, EPC firms, or site-based project environments.

• Professional working proficiency in English (C1 level).

• Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.

• A solid understanding of electrical systems and project execution activities.

• Strong capabilities in project coordination and stakeholder management.

• Ability to supervise contractors and effectively drive execution on-site.

• A structured, detail-oriented, and execution-focused approach.

• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Capacity to work independently in high-demand project settings.

• Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities.

• Capable of managing multiple priorities across various project phases.
