This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of projects within a PMO-driven framework, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategy, governance standards, and industry best practices.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of projects of varying sizes and complexities, with a particular emphasis on AI-enabled initiatives, automation, and digital innovation.
• Create, maintain, and implement detailed project plans encompassing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements and guarantee the successful delivery of solutions that yield measurable results.
• Promote PMO standards and governance, including project intake, prioritization, stage gates, and status reporting.
• Provide clear and concise updates to leadership through executive dashboards, presentations, and portfolio-level reporting.
• Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders, steering committees, and working sessions to maintain alignment and transparency.
• Coordinate efforts between internal teams and external vendors to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
• Assist in evaluating software solutions, including AI platforms, ensuring they align with business needs and enterprise architecture.
• Analyze and enhance business processes, proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Encourage the adoption of new technologies through structured change management practices, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Aid in gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
• Coordinate communications with end-users, including announcements, updates, and feedback collection during and after implementation.
• Monitor user adoption and feedback, recommending enhancements and solutions to improve usability and adoption.
• Act as the liaison between IT, business teams, and leadership to ensure alignment throughout all project phases.
• Ensure thorough documentation of project artifacts, decisions, risks, and lessons learned.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, templates, and reporting standards.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, business analysis, or related fields.
• Experience managing or contributing to AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Smartsheet Product and Solution Certification is strongly preferred.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training is strongly preferred.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
