Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Plan, execute, install, commission, and provide ongoing support for projects related to chemical dosing and treatment systems.

• Oversee multiple customer projects from initiation through implementation, commissioning support, and final closeout.

• Develop and sustain project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risk logs, and action trackers.

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering clear and timely updates on progress.

• Coordinate activities involving technical, commercial, procurement, vendor, and field-service teams.

• Identify project risks, delays, scope adjustments, and resource limitations, implementing appropriate countermeasures.

• Manage project documentation, deliverables, contracts, change orders, and customer approvals.

• Lead project meetings, documenting decisions, actions, owners, and deadlines.

• Coordinate efforts among customers, sales teams, engineers, contractors, manufacturing, and field service personnel.

• Capture lessons learned and enhance project management processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, environmental science, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience in industrial, environmental, engineering, construction, chemical, or technical service sectors.

• Proven experience in managing multiple customer-facing projects with competing priorities.

• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and change control principles.

• Strong communication skills with customers and cross-functional stakeholder management capabilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management or ERP tools.

• Willingness to travel to customer or project locations up to 25% of the time.

• PMP, CAPM, or a similar project management certification is advantageous.

• Experience in water, wastewater, environmental treatment, chemical-feed systems, remediation, or industrial processes is a plus.

• Background in coordinating field installation, commissioning, contractors, or technical service teams is beneficial.

• Familiarity with engineered-to-order or customized customer solutions is a plus.
