Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Lead the effective execution of intricate customer projects throughout Australia.

• Manage the agreement between TOMRA and its clients.

• Ensure project completion aligns with timelines, quality standards, budget constraints, and customer satisfaction objectives.

• Supervise project workflows, documentation, reporting, and scheduling.

• Create project plans and determine resource needs.

• Guide project teams to achieve agreed outcomes.

• Oversee contract scope, modifications, and project advancement.

• Relay project plans, updates, and timelines to clients.

• Track milestones and maintain documentation of project tasks throughout the lifecycle.

• Consult with experts to mitigate compliance risks and engage with third-party entities.

• Manage cash flow and financial objectives.

• Record lessons learned and conduct root cause analyses.

• Implement corrective measures.

• Facilitate project handovers and compliance documentation.

• Perform project evaluations focusing on risk, budgeting, quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Foster a “Safety First” ethos.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of project management experience handling complex, customer-facing projects from initiation to completion.

• Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

• Expertise in project planning, risk management, budgeting, and project execution.

• Background in manufacturing, food processing, mining, construction, industrial equipment, engineering services, or related sectors.

• Strong grasp of compliance and regulatory mandates.

• Capability to work independently, make informed decisions, and achieve results in remote and dynamic environments.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Commercial insight and a customer-centric mindset.

• Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines, manage uncertainty, and tackle complex challenges.

• Comfortable working in both an open office environment and on-site at industrial customer locations.

• Must possess or be eligible to acquire a valid passport.

• Unrestricted driver's license in the country of residence.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time.

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related field is preferable but not mandatory.

• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) are beneficial but not essential.
