Associate Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of both global and local COA/eCOA projects.

• Handle local COA/eCOA projects for China with quick turnaround times.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams both within and outside of China to ensure deliverables are met.

• Act as a liaison with local client representatives in China to manage expectations and track project progress.

• Create project plans, budgets, and timelines.

• Track progress to guarantee successful project results.

• Foster communication and engage stakeholders effectively.

• Coordinate efforts among team members and clients during project execution.

• Choose and assign translators and reviewers.

• Perform final checks of deliverables and manage delivery to clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, linguistic project management, or a related discipline.

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• For PM positions: 5+ years of experience in COA/translation/localization project management within a translation company or corporate translation department.

• For APM positions: 2+ years of experience in COA/translation/localization project management within a translation company or corporate translation department.

• Proficient in both Chinese and English at a business level.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a matrix structure.

• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

• Dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

• Strong technical skills and familiarity with translation management systems and CAT tools.

• Quality-focused with effective problem-solving skills.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
