This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead large and complex as well as small capital projects across Chemours facilities globally.

• Plan, direct, and oversee all activities related to the execution of capital projects.

• Supervise design, procurement, construction, project controls, estimating, document management, and contractor oversight from Front-End Loading (FEL) to start-up.

• Identify project team resources and obtain support from resource managers.

• Ensure that project team members comprehend and execute their roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

• Establish communication and alignment with project teams and stakeholders.

• Lead front-end loading activities, including scopes of work, estimates, funding requests, integrated schedules, and production design basis.

• Drive project scope, cost, schedule, and resource management.

• Identify deliverables and guarantee timely, high-quality completion.

• Manage scope changes and control costs within approved budgets.

• Drive capital project work processes in accordance with the Chemours Project System.

• Lead sessions for risk identification, mitigation, and problem-solving.

• Ensure adherence to design standards and agreements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience managing capital projects.

• A minimum of 3 years working in a chemical plant environment.

• At least 2 years of experience in field construction or contract management.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Capability to execute smaller, less complex projects with limited supporting resources.

• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to lead through influence.

• Excellent team-building skills.

• Experience working with engineering/design contractors.

• Familiarity with project scheduling software.

• Knowledge of smart engineering/design tools.

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office software.

• Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.

• Supervisory experience with direct reports is a plus.

• Experience in plant operations or maintenance is a plus.
