Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of assigned projects from the planning phase to completion.

• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans for multiple concurrent and complex tech/SaaS initiatives, tracking milestones, responsible parties, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.

• Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and dependencies across teams.

• Establish project owners, develop mitigation strategies, and create escalation paths to avert delivery delays.

• Collaborate with Engineering Directors, Product Managers, Tech Leads, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams.

• Align project deliverables and resolve dependencies across segments.

• Ensure visibility into milestones, project status, risks, dependencies, decisions, and any changes in scope or timeline.

• Provide succinct and actionable updates to Product and Engineering leadership.

• Conduct regular synchronization meetings and manage ongoing communications.

• Eliminate obstacles for engineering and product teams.

• Facilitate timely resolutions of cross-functional decisions, document outcomes, and escalate unresolved issues.

• Utilize AI and automation tools to streamline workflows, minimize manual administrative tasks, and enhance operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in technical Project Management within SaaS or technology companies.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing intricate, cross-functional tech and data projects with numerous dependencies.

• Comfortable collaborating with Engineering and Product teams and knowledgeable about APIs, integrations, data flows, architectural dependencies, and software delivery processes at a project management level.

• Capable of transforming ambiguous or loosely defined initiatives into structured execution plans with clear milestones, responsible parties, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes.

• Proficient in synthesizing complex project information into concise, actionable updates for Directors and senior leadership, including risks, trade-offs, and necessary decisions.

• Actively utilize AI tools and automation strategies to enhance daily project workflows.

• Familiarity with modern project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Google Workspace or their equivalents.

• Must be adept at functioning effectively in a distributed, remote work environment.

• PMP certification is preferred, but not required.
