Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute software projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and potential risks.

• Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring they are consistently informed on project status.

• Facilitate agile ceremonies, which include planning sessions, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Monitor project progress, detect risks at an early stage, and suggest mitigation strategies.

• Handle adjustments in project scope and manage client expectations effectively.

• Collaborate with the Technical Leader to prioritize tasks while ensuring quality and adherence to deadlines.

• Implement AI tools to enhance efficiency in planning, reporting, and communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in software development projects.

• Proficient in English, with a level of C1 or above.

• Strong background in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Direct experience in managing client relationships, preferably with international clients.

• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, ClickUp, or similar platforms.

• Sufficient technical knowledge to comprehend the projects being developed and engage in discussions with engineers.

• Excellent proactive communication skills and the ability to navigate challenging conversations.

• Experience in a software factory or consultancy setting is a plus.

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PSM, or CSM are advantageous.

• Familiarity with managing projects that involve AI technology is a plus.

• Must currently reside in LATAM, as specified in the application question.
