Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee project planning, define scope, schedule tasks, allocate resources, and manage risks.

• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders through effective communication, status updates, and managing escalations.

• Coordinate efforts among development, engineering, QA, and vendor teams.

• Handle change control processes, monitor dependencies, and ensure that acceptance criteria are fulfilled.

• Monitor financials and budgets, forecast resource requirements, and report on cost variations and benefits realization.

• Keep project plans, schedules, RAID logs, meeting notes, and lessons learned updated.

• Facilitate project kickoffs, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, steering committee meetings, and decision-making discussions.

• Establish delivery processes, quality gates, and compliance standards.

• Evaluate delivery performance and utilize lessons learned for ongoing improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in leading and managing multiple teams.

• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to agile delivery practices.

• Thorough understanding of the distinctions between coding and engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in managing medium to large-scale projects in IT, software delivery, or business transformation.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures or AI coding assistants.

• Proficient in spoken English.

• Proficient in spoken Spanish.
