This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Report directly to the Operations Manager.
• Oversee, coordinate, and ensure the delivery of assigned projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with defined scope and quality standards.
• Engage with clients and project stakeholders to manage their expectations effectively.
• Provide regular project updates and ad hoc reports to senior management.
• Set a leadership standard for project Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) execution by adhering to and enforcing HSE policies and programs.
• Assist in project estimating, including bid walks, execution strategies, and identifying project risks.
• Initiate project setup following award and the handoff of estimates.
• Create project teams, budgets, and documentation to facilitate effective project kick-off.
• Develop and sustain project execution plans, critical risk paths, and milestone schedules.
• Manage and distribute resources to ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Oversee project modifications through established change management processes.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk registers, schedules, health and safety plans, quality plans, and mandatory project records.
• Supervise project expenditures, approved budgets, and man-hour forecasts.
• Coordinate activities related to materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Ensure prompt processing of accounts receivable and payable invoices.
• Maintain project reporting for both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Lead project meetings, which include kick-offs, updates, change orders, recovery plans, and lessons learned sessions.
• Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify staffing needs, including specialized consultants and subcontractors.
• Establish clear expectations for project team members.
• Coordinate project closure and conduct post-mortem analyses.
• Recommend improvements based on findings from post-mortem evaluations.
• Foster business development opportunities with current clients through effective project execution and professional relationships.
• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field is required.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered advantageous.
• Experience working with electric utility clients is a plus.
• Experience in executing EPC projects is preferred.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing medium to large full-cycle construction projects is required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities are beneficial.
• Proven capability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, HardDollar, and ViewPoint Construction Software is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
