Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define project objectives, feasibility, purpose, scope, and goals.

• Create business case documents to justify the project's necessity and potential profitability.

• Set project budgets, timelines, task lists, resources, financing, materials, and comprehensive project plans.

• Lead and manage tasks through effective team leadership.

• Address issues, modify timelines and budgets, and ensure adherence to deadlines.

• Track project progress, budgets, performance metrics, workflow requirements, and quality standards.

• Communicate the status of tasks and workflows to stakeholders, management, and team members.

• Coordinate deliverables with external vendors.

• Develop detailed project briefs and presentations.

• Conduct after-action reviews and hold project-team meetings to record process enhancements.

• Oversee and manage cross-border shipments of lithium-ion batteries for clients.

• Handle scheduling, customer communications, shipping documentation, waste profiles, import/export compliance, paperwork tracking, reporting, and final invoicing.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proven experience in navigating a project through the entire Project Life Cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure.

• Strong organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and progress tracking.

• Capability to deliver projects within defined scope, budget, and timelines.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with project management software tools and best practices, including Microsoft Office, Trello, Slack, or Microsoft Project.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Management expertise, including team leadership, decision-making, and task delegation abilities.

• Proficiency in coordinating project budgets, encompassing payroll, analysis, and budget reporting.

• Solid understanding of RCRA and DOT regulations.

• Knowledge of Canadian regulations is an advantage.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
