Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as Project Manager for a select group of key accounts

• Oversee jobs during the execution phase of clients’ packaging production requirements

• Coordinate packaging production by providing job instructions and schedules

• Liaise with design firms, printers, engravers, on-site staff, sales teams, clients, and production departments

• Ensure packaging artwork is suitable for printing and relay any artwork issues to stakeholders

• Foster and enhance client relationships

• Serve as the main resource for on-site staff and sales, acting as the primary contact for the production department

• Modify and develop plans when colleagues are unavailable

• Consult with on-site personnel and/or clients during the artwork development and pre-press phases

• Attend pre-production meetings and other relevant gatherings when possible

• Respond swiftly to requests from clients and stakeholders

• Document crucial information that may impact quality

• Engage in process improvement initiatives and production meetings

• Verify technical data against the provided artwork

• Manage project timelines effectively

• Communicate the receipt and shipment of artwork and utilize the client’s artwork-tracking database

• Comprehend client deliverables and rework processes

• Report issues to management

• Enter orders accurately and ensure they are complete when handed over to production

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Some college or an Associate’s Degree is preferred

• 2-5 years of relevant experience is preferred

• Prior experience as a CSR in the print industry is preferred

• Experience in the design, print, or production art sectors

• Strong ability to read work instructions and business memos

• Proofreading skills are essential

• Capability to work independently after initial training

• Must reside in the United States, excluding AK, DC, DE, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, UT, VT, WY, and WV

• Ability to sit regularly; use hands for handling, feeling, or fingering; and communicate effectively

• Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds

• Adequate vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
