Patient Access Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementations, enhancements, and associated workstreams for Epic Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals.

• Create and oversee project plans, including milestones, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Coordinate efforts among IT, clinical, operational, and Patient Access stakeholders.

• Promote effective communication and alignment among cross-functional teams during the project lifecycle.

• Recognize project risks and obstacles, developing suitable solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Assist in implementation readiness, go-live planning, command center operations, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

• Ensure project efforts align with the priorities of Patient Access and Scheduling Centers of Excellence, as well as established Epic governance protocols.

• Support enterprise-level initiatives related to registration, scheduling, and referrals.

• Deliver project updates and escalate risks, decisions, and dependencies as necessary.

• Connect technical implementation requirements with operational needs in Patient Access.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in supporting Epic Prelude, Cadence, and Referrals implementations.

• Current or relevant Epic certifications in the applicable modules.

• Extensive experience in healthcare IT project management and implementation.

• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

• Strong grasp of Patient Access, registration, scheduling, and referral workflows.

• Experience in supporting Epic go-lives and post-implementation stabilization efforts.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with technical, operational, and clinical stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
