Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate comprehensive agile delivery processes, encompassing sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• Convert strategic objectives, priorities, and team resources into actionable sprint and release plans.

• Maintain alignment of daily execution with overarching strategic priorities.

• Eliminate obstacles and manage cross-team and external dependencies.

• Safeguard the team’s focus to ensure consistent delivery.

• Create roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, trade-off analyses, delivery reports, and status overviews.

• Supply leadership with insights for prioritization and investment decisions.

• Monitor velocity, throughput, burn-down rates, cycle time, defect rates, and delivery-performance metrics.

• Identify areas of time or quality deterioration and implement quantifiable improvements.

• Establish, document, and uphold delivery and quality standards.

• Tailor agile practices to accommodate an AI-accelerated development cadence.

• Manage and refine the backlog in collaboration with product owners and project leads.

• Ensure that upcoming tasks are accurately estimated and aligned with stakeholder expectations.

• Mentor the team, enhance agile practices, reinforce commitments and standards, and promote high-performance delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in agile delivery, Scrum Master, or agile project/program management roles.

• Current Scrum Master certification (e.g., PSM, CSM, or SAFe Scrum Master).

• Profound, proven expertise in Scrum and other agile frameworks, including Kanban, SAFe, and Lean.

• Understanding of servant-leadership principles.

• Experience in translating strategies and priorities into actionable team plans and ensuring delivery alignment.

• Proven track record of producing delivery metrics, status reports, and analytics that support leadership decision-making and prioritization.

• Skilled in utilizing delivery data and metrics to significantly enhance team efficiency and quality.

• Experience in establishing delivery or quality standards, holding teams accountable, and coaching teams to achieve higher performance levels.

• Proficient in agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

• Possession of a Public Trust clearance.
