Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Plan and oversee software development initiatives from the initial planning stage to the final delivery.

• Take full responsibility for projects and customer accounts, ensuring alignment of delivery with business objectives.

• Provide guidance to teams and clients as an informed Project Manager with subject matter expertise.

• Collaborate with Nortal Subject Matter Experts when necessary.

• Lead project teams from the kick-off phase through to delivery and beyond.

• Cultivate relationships with customers and stakeholders.

• Manage expectations and facilitate decision-making in complex scenarios.

• Oversee financial aspects of projects.

• Monitor progress and ensure projects remain on track.

• Contribute to Estonia's essential digital public infrastructure, which includes secure platform development and modernization, collaborative delivery with public and private sector partners, and regulation-driven interoperability such as eIDAS.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–7 years of experience in IT project management, specifically in delivering software projects within a project-based framework.

• Strong leadership abilities in managing people.

• Proven track record in maintaining long-term strategic relationships with clients.

• Capability to identify and foster follow-up, extension, and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.

• Excellent communication skills in both Estonian and English.

• A positive, solution-oriented attitude.

• Previous experience or interest in the domain is desirable.

• Experience working with public sector clients or involvement in tender processes is a plus.
