This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a point of contact for clients regarding the reception, scheduling, approval, updates, and support of DVW projects.
• Organize and coordinate projects and personnel, including writers, narrators, and mixers.
• Receive and conduct quality checks on client materials, distributing them to writers and mixers accordingly.
• Provide clients with final materials through upload, download, and preview services.
• Support the Client Services Manager in project organization, scheduling, monitoring, and progress reporting.
• Address client inquiries related to technical issues and scheduling.
• Provide narrator samples and draft scripts for client review and approval.
• Oversee back-end systems for client-specific applications.
• Manage Live Audio Description Events from initial inquiry to final delivery.
• Source remote equipment and collaborate with clients on venue arrangements and technical constraints.
• Maintain daily schedules and send invoices to accounting, addressing any billing inquiries.
• Transcode projects and distribute updated or revised proxies as needed.
• Coordinate reports and documentation throughout the production process.
• Assist in establishing project quality-control standards and maintain relevant QC reports.
• Resolve complex project challenges, including QC investigations, proxy reissues, follow-ups, and coordination.
• Oversee captioning and subtitling processes.
• Assist with the quoting processes.
• Enter data into the Project Management System and generate reports to identify business gaps and provide recommendations.
• Manage the Change Order process.
• Archive completed projects on the central server and maintain archive documentation.
• Implement and maintain, or assist with, data backup procedures.
• Participate in weekly meetings to report on progress, discuss challenges, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Required experience in project management.
• Experience or familiarity with audio description is advantageous.
• Knowledge of live event production is a plus.
• Fully remote position with the ability to work from home.
• Occasional travel to on-site venues for live events may be necessary.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings or weekends when needed.
• Willingness to provide technical assistance to writers and send AD or DV to clients outside of standard hours if required.
