This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.
• Oversee translation projects for clients from initial communications through alignment on scope and costs, execution, quality assurance, and final delivery.
• Strategize, implement, and deliver global and local COA/eCOA projects in accordance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage local COA/eCOA projects in China with quick turnaround times.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams both within and outside of China to ensure deliverables are met.
• Act as a liaison with local client representatives in China to manage expectations and track project progress.
• Create project plans, budgets, and timelines while monitoring progress closely.
• Promote effective communication and engagement among stakeholders.
• Coordinate efforts between team members and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Select and allocate translators and reviewers appropriately.
• Perform final assessments of deliverables and manage their delivery to clients.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, linguistic project management, or a related discipline.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• For PM position: Minimum of 5 years of experience in COA/translation/localization project management within a translation company or corporate translation department.
• For APM position: Minimum of 2 years of experience in COA/translation/localization project management within a translation company or corporate translation department.
• Proficiency in both business-level Chinese and English.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
• Dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
• Strong technical skills with familiarity in translation management systems and CAT tools.
• Quality-driven with effective problem-solving capabilities.
