Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of both global and local COA/eCOA projects.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Manage local COA/eCOA projects specific to China, ensuring quick turnaround times.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams both within and outside of China to secure project deliverables.

• Communicate with local client representatives in China to manage expectations and track project progress.

• Create comprehensive project plans, budgets, and timelines.

• Monitor project progress to guarantee successful outcomes for COA projects.

• Facilitate communication and engagement among stakeholders.

• Coordinate interactions between team members and clients during project execution.

• Choose and assign translators and reviewers based on project needs.

• Conduct final quality checks of deliverables and manage their delivery to clients.

• Report to a manager located in the EMEA region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, linguistic project management, or a related discipline.

• For PM positions: 5+ years of experience in COA/translation/localization project management in a translation company or a corporate translation department.

• For APM positions: 2+ years of experience in COA/translation/localization project management in a translation company or corporate translation department.

• Proficient in both Chinese and English at a business level.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams within a matrix environment.

• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.

• Strong technical skills and familiarity with translation management systems and CAT tools.

• Quality-focused with problem-solving abilities.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based.
