Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Keep the project roadmap and initiatives updated in Jira.

• Ensure visibility across team initiative channels on Slack.

• Conduct regular check-ins with the Technical PM and team to monitor deliverables.

• Identify slipping dates and ensure feature-development projects progress smoothly.

• Assist in tracking and coordinating ongoing projects.

• Align timelines, action items, and stakeholders effectively.

• Create and revise process documentation and tracking systems for compliance submission deadlines and requirements.

• Develop and update process documentation and tracking systems for customer support readiness.

• Actively identify risks, bottlenecks, and missed deadlines.

• Organize and bring clarity to ambiguity as priorities and processes shift in a startup environment.

• Collaborate closely with the Operations Lead and Technical PM on project delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in a Project Manager or Program Coordinator role.

• Strong proficiency in Jira and Slack (or equivalent project management/communication tools).

• A strong sense of urgency and ownership; capable of identifying when something is amiss and taking action without prompting.

• Comfortable working with technical teams and translating between engineering timelines and business deadlines.

• Excellent written communication skills for asynchronous updates and documentation.

• A builder’s mindset; motivated by establishing structure and processes where none currently exist.

• Experience in iGaming or regulated industries is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.

• Adaptable in a small, fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
