Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Assist in advancing projects as Gainwell enables clients to achieve improved health and human services outcomes through technology and innovation.

• Support the Director of Implementation in driving the growth strategy and development of Payment Integrity.

• Supervise multiple projects, offering mentorship and guidance to members of the implementation team.

• Conduct training, ensure quality assurance, and develop departmental guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Address client project customizations, issues, and delays through effective problem-solving.

• Lead large project management teams and aid in project staffing efforts.

• Initiate project planning and oversee the tracking of assigned staff.

• Communicate with clients, company leadership, and project teams regarding project metrics and status updates.

• Develop project schedules, define programs, establish budgets, and set objectives.

• Proactively manage risks and implement mitigation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Medicaid or Medicare is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in payment integrity products.

• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Catalyst or Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

• A contemporary understanding of budget development, control, assurance methods, and project management software.

• Capability to lead and translate broader program objectives into distinct, achievable project scopes and milestones.

• Leadership skills to train, guide, and mentor junior colleagues.

• A strong executive presenter with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.

• An influencer who can effectively communicate project priorities and inspire stakeholders to take action.
