Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Organize, direct, and oversee all elements of contract operational support functions involving multiple complex and interconnected project tasks.

• Coordinate contractor personnel across various locations.

• Collaborate with the Program Manager to develop and assess task plans, schedules, and deliverables.

• Ensure alignment with program requirements, performance standards, and contractual commitments.

• Create, maintain, and present technical reports that illustrate project progress to management and clients.

• Guarantee timely and accurate reporting to the COR and government leadership.

• Supervise IT Operations and Maintenance as well as monitoring functions supporting over 150 Windows/Linux servers, storage systems, and databases.

• Ensure compliance with service level agreements regarding incident response/resolution, system availability, and service delivery.

• Adhere to federal IT security policies, FISMA requirements, NIST guidelines, and NIH/HHS security standards.

• Manage cloud operations, including FedRAMP-authorized environments, cloud monitoring, and FinOps cost optimization.

• Review and direct activities related to FedRAMP and cloud security requirements.

• Monitor and guide compliance with Agile/ITIL methodologies and foster continuous improvement.

• Oversee Tableau infrastructure support, which includes server administration, user access management, performance monitoring, dashboard publishing workflows, and integration with enterprise data sources.

• Provide comprehensive direction to an engineering team and liaise with senior representatives of customer organizations.

• Ensure that program tasks, deliverables, timelines, and costs meet contractual obligations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, or an equivalent qualification.

• Capability to obtain Level 4 Public Trust security clearance.

• Proven experience in managing complex, multi-task federal IT contracts.

• Ability to engage professionally and collaboratively with Dynanet clients, business partners, and colleagues.

• Demonstrated expertise in IT Infrastructure project management.

• Proven proficiency in managing intricate information systems architectures that involve multiple databases and networks.

• Proven expertise in managing AWS environments and a solid understanding of AWS Cloud technology.

• Knowledge of FISMA requirements.

• Technical capabilities to act as a Technical Lead and provide technical guidance for all contract tasks.

• Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• CISSP or a related security certification (preferred).

• AWS architect or a related certification (preferred).

• ITIL Foundation Certificate (v3 or higher) (preferred).

• Agile scrum master certification or demonstrated working knowledge (preferred).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior federal officials.

• A strong desire and ability to continuously learn, challenge oneself, and enhance IT services delivery within the Federal sector.

• Strong judgment and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Prompt responsiveness to team and client inquiries via email, MS Teams, or other communication platforms during core business hours.

• Experience in managing costs, performance, and schedules related to tasks.

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including 4 years specifically focused on federal IT project management.

• Experience working with federal agencies and a solid understanding of federal IT policies, compliance, and procurement processes.
