Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Delivery Director.

• Allocate resources from Datmos teams to both client and internal projects, ensuring a balance of priorities, skills, and available capacity.

• Establish stable, dedicated teams for key clients based on language proficiency, platform expertise, and relevant certifications.

• Maintain a three-month outlook on capacity and workload, proactively identifying staffing needs and gaps.

• Monitor utilization in relation to Operations targets.

• Manage delivery plans, schedules, risks, and staffing for a portfolio of client projects.

• Forecast the remaining effort required for fixed-price projects and notify account leadership of any variances.

• Collaborate with product owners to address client requirements and acceptance, ensuring timely delivery.

• Implement the delivery practice and share insights to facilitate its evolution.

• Lead internal initiatives related to tooling, processes, and AI adoption, from scoping through to close-out.

• Keep stakeholders informed and report progress and risks to the Delivery Director.

• Utilize AI assistants and agents daily to plan capacity, identify risks early, and draft status reports while reviewing their outputs.

• Maintain shared AI workflows, playbooks, and templates, and propose improvement ideas to the Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including PMO, portfolio management, or resource planning, preferably in an agency or digital professional services environment.

• Practical experience using generative AI tools (LLM assistants, agents, automations) in daily operations, with tangible examples of workflow improvements.

• Demonstrated ability to allocate resources across multiple teams while managing competing priorities.

• Experience leading internal or organizational transformation projects that span several departments.

• Proficient with planning and tracking tools such as Jira, Forecast, or Float, as well as advanced spreadsheet applications.

• Experience in analyzing KPIs, including utilization, capacity, and profitability.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.

• Bilingual in English and French, with proficiency in both written and spoken forms.

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or PSM certification is considered an asset.

• Familiarity with automation, data, or scripting languages such as SQL, Python, Zapier, or similar workflow tools, as well as AI workflows, is preferred.

• Knowledge of the eCommerce ecosystem, including platforms like Magento, Shopify, commercetools, Akeneo, PIM, DAM, and ERP, is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication, influence-without-authority, and negotiation skills.
