Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Leading a project that involves the development and maintenance of a high-availability IT system for the public sector.

• Managing the production process.

• Coordinating the project team's efforts.

• Being responsible for timely implementation of new functionalities.

• Ensuring the stability of the platform.

• Planning engineering tasks, identifying risks, and reporting on progress.

• Collaborating on a system based on distributed architecture using SOA, REST, SOAP, portal technologies like Liferay, and application servers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in managing project teams of at least 4 individuals, gained within the last 5 years.

• Participation in the execution of a minimum of 2 projects focused on building or developing a complex IT system, for at least 6 months as a Project Manager or Deputy in each project.

• Successfully leading at least one IT project to a successful production deployment of the entire system or its new version.

• Practical experience in managing projects according to PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, or similar IT methodologies.

• Understanding of service-oriented architecture (REST, SOAP, SOA) and mass communication exchange using XML/JSON.

• Experience with high-availability systems (24/7/365) designed for at least 1000 simultaneous users.

• Knowledge of multi-tier architecture with application servers (e.g., Tomcat, WildFly) and relational databases.

• Ability to plan engineering tasks, identify risks, and report on work progress.
