This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Capio Group is in search of a seasoned Project Manager to assist in the implementation of a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) licensing and compliance platform, which will integrate various legacy systems into a cohesive enterprise solution.
β’ The role encompasses project planning and governance, requirements gathering and user story formulation, solution design, systems integration, API and interface development, data conversion and migration, configuration management, testing support, sprint execution, training and knowledge transfer, production deployment, and post-implementation support.
β’ The project will utilize Agile Scrum methodologies through a phased implementation strategy, necessitating the successful configuration, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of a secure, FedRAMP-compliant cloud solution that addresses licensing, compliance, enforcement, case management, document management, reporting, payment processing, and integration with both internal and external systems.
β’ The Contractor will also deliver ongoing maintenance and operations, service desk support, system enhancements, regulatory updates, security compliance, performance monitoring, and operational support to guarantee consistent system availability, reliability, and adherence to evolving business and legislative requirements.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or Computer Science is required.
β’ At least four (4) years of experience as a Project Manager on a large-scale, complex IT project for a State of California government agency (City, State, County, or Federal) within the last eight (8) years, managing the complete design, development, and implementation (DDI) of software solutions.
β’ A minimum of two (2) years managing cross-functional project teams within the last eight (8) years, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, budgets, and timelines.
β’ At least two (2) years of experience in developing, updating, and executing project management plans within the last eight (8) years, with demonstrated management of scope, schedule, resource allocation, risk, and stakeholder communication.
β’ Within the last eight (8) years, a minimum of two (2) years applying standard project management methodologies and Agile, Scrum, or hybrid approaches using contemporary project management tools.
β’ Current and active Project Management Institution (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
