This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Act as the main point of contact for newly onboarded clients during the implementation phase.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Operations to convert client requirements into actionable project plans.
• Define, estimate, plan, and oversee translation and localization projects.
• Facilitate client kickoffs, discovery sessions, status updates, portal demonstrations, and implementation discussions.
• Oversee technology-driven solutions, including customer portals, integrations, data-driven workflows, as well as print and mailing services.
• Develop and uphold client- and project-specific procedures, workflows, checklists, instructions, and implementation documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy of project setup and financial data across various systems.
• Handle requests for quotes, test translations, ad hoc tasks, and provide implementation support.
• Monitor client behaviors, track implementation progress, account efforts, and other relevant metrics.
• Prepare and conduct structured handoffs to the Operations team.
• Professional experience in the localization industry is essential.
• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in localization or language services.
• Proven experience in taking ownership of client accounts or complex programs.
• Strong client-facing experience, including leading meetings, managing expectations, and handling challenging conversations.
• Familiarity with localization technologies and workflows, such as TMS, CAT, OCR, and related production tools.
• Capability to work independently, make informed decisions, and advance projects with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with ambiguity, new technologies, and unconventional translation workflows.
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, attention to detail, and follow-through skills.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
