This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the Project Manager for one or more initiatives within the DEAN program.
β’ Oversee the daily management of assigned project activities.
β’ Ensure that deliverables are achieved within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.
β’ Plan, initiate, manage, execute, and conclude assigned projects that support VHA's integrated healthcare system.
β’ Utilize structured project management methodologies that align with PMI standards and federal contracting requirements.
β’ Provide project-level status updates to the Task Order Project Lead (TOPL) / Program Manager.
β’ Identify risks and issues, escalating them as necessary while recommending mitigation strategies.
β’ Create and maintain project schedules, risk and issue logs, action item trackers, and status reports in accordance with VA documentation standards.
β’ Collaborate with internal project teams, VA program offices, and partner contractors.
β’ Align efforts, address dependencies, and drive the execution of assigned workstreams within the DEAN transformation initiative.
β’ Monitor performance metrics for the project.
β’ Participate in lessons-learned reviews and support the ongoing improvement of project execution processes.
β’ A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in successfully managing a large-scale program comprising multiple projects, with a lifecycle budget and complexity similar to the task order, including at least 4 years with a large corporation, government agency, or healthcare organization.
β’ BA/BS Degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
β’ Experience in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing programs or projects that support an agency's mission.
β’ Capability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust clearance (Tier 2 / MBI).
β’ Adherence to VA information security, privacy, and system access requirements, including VA PIV credentialing and related onboarding standards.
β’ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
β’ An active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a comparable quality-equivalent certification is required at the time of hire.
β’ At least four years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency, preferably within a large healthcare organization.
β’ Familiarity with the standard operations of VHA is preferred.
β’ Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with organizational leadership is preferred.
β’ Knowledge of the DEAN mission and function is preferred.
