Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• The Project Manager is tasked with steering customer implementation projects that deploy Arcos software solutions in line with customer business objectives, operational needs, and established scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

• This position oversees the complete implementation lifecycle, encompassing discovery, planning, requirements coordination, solution configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, user acceptance, go-live readiness, stabilization, and transition to support.

• The Technical Project Manager acts as the main coordination point between customer stakeholders and Arcos Professional Services, Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales teams, converting customer needs into actionable technical plans, managing risks and dependencies, and facilitating clear communication to ensure successful implementation outcomes and long-term customer adoption.

• Directing project teams utilizing Arcos standard project management methodologies.

• Crafting project management documents such as project charters, scopes of work, budgets, work plans, risk logs, communication strategies, status reports, change requests, and other project deliverables.

• Overseeing customer contracts to ensure adherence to the agreed scope of work.

• Serving as the primary contact and subject matter expert for PMO standards, governance processes, and implementation delivery tools.

• Acting as the sole point of contact for all project-related inquiries and correspondence.

• Reviewing new implementation projects with sales personnel to pinpoint customer stakeholders, project team members, scope considerations, technical dependencies, and specific requirements.

• Managing multiple concurrent medium-sized implementations or two to three large implementation projects.

• Directing and coordinating the activities of project personnel to guarantee projects progress on schedule and within budgetary limits.

• Preparing status reports and evaluating other reports and status updates generated by project staff, adjusting schedules or plans as necessary. Compiling project reports for management, clients, and other stakeholders.

• Engaging regularly with the Arcos Engineering department to ensure development requirements are finalized and delivery timelines are established and adhered to.

• Monitoring project profitability and burndown status while understanding how to implement corrective actions if a project exceeds budget.

• Serving as a liaison between customers, Professional Services, Product, Engineering, Support, and Sales to translate business outcomes into clear requirements, solution designs, project plans, risks, and delivery decisions.

• Collaborating with technical teams to verify configuration, integration, reporting, security, data migration, testing, and release-readiness activities; identifying delivery risks early and driving ownership through resolution.

• Implementing and developing AI-enabled tools and automation to enhance meeting summaries, requirements documentation, project reporting, risk and issue analysis, knowledge management, training assets, and repeatable delivery workflows.

• Creating executive-ready communications that link technical delivery progress to customer value, business outcomes, adoption, budget health, risk mitigation, and measurable implementation success.

• Supporting continuous improvement by identifying reusable templates, prompts, automation patterns, packaged offerings, process enhancements, and delivery playbooks that boost project quality and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent skill set and experience.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including management experience, is required; five or more years of project or program management experience leading multiple large projects is preferred.

• Extensive hands-on experience in product or software implementations.

• Formal training in or experience with project management methodologies.

• Project Management Professional Certification is preferred.

• Experience within a business unit, showcasing sensitivity and dedication to solving business problems.

• Technical management experience in a fast-paced high-technology environment.

• Exceptional analytical, written, verbal communication, and facilitation skills.

• Strong comprehension of consulting and software as a service (“SaaS”) business concepts, operations, and processes.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and customer reference materials.

• Proven competency in strategic thinking and leadership with robust relationship management capabilities.

• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary, high-performance teams/groups.

• Successfully developed and rolled out new technology.

• Proven competency in project management and the execution of multiple large projects.

• Successfully established and implemented new work processes or process enhancements.

• Gained experience collaborating with customers to devise solutions to complex large-scale business challenges.

• Reasoning ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and work with both abstract and concrete variables.

• Proven ability to lead SaaS implementation projects from discovery through design, configuration, integration, testing, UAT, go-live, stabilization, and post-launch optimization.

• Strong capability to simplify complex technical concepts for business and executive audiences, translating business challenges into actionable requirements for Product, Engineering, and implementation teams.

• Experience identifying and creating AI and automation opportunities, Power BI development, estimating business value, defining success metrics, and guiding adoption to enhance productivity, quality, scalability, and customer outcomes.

• Proficient in using Microsoft 365, Copilot and other AI-enabled productivity tools, Salesforce, collaboration platforms, and project management systems to improve transparency, follow-through, and delivery consistency.
