This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary contractor liaison for all programmatic and operational inquiries associated with the Elevated Risk Care Management program within the VHA.
• Oversee comprehensive program management tasks, including planning, initiation, execution, monitoring, and project closure.
• Create and uphold project charters, integrated master schedules, risk registers, status reports, and communication plans for stakeholders.
• Organize and lead program reviews, working group meetings, and briefings with VA leadership, Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), and cross-functional teams.
• Assess program performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverable milestones, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective action strategies.
• Promote ongoing process enhancement by pinpointing operational inefficiencies, documenting lessons learned, and suggesting evidence-based solutions for Veteran care management.
• At least 4 years of experience in managing large-scale programs or multi-project portfolios within a major corporation, government agency, or healthcare organization.
• Comprehensive lifecycle program management experience from initiation to closure.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Business, or a related discipline is required.
• Proven experience in supporting a federal agency or substantial healthcare organization.
• Capability to obtain and retain VA network access.
• Must fulfill VA background investigation, security, and suitability criteria for contractor personnel.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Active PMP certification or an equivalent quality certification is required at the time of application, such as PgMP, CAPM with demonstrated senior-level experience, or Prince2 Practitioner.
• Preferred familiarity with VA, VHA, or other federal health program operations, compliance standards, and stakeholder engagement practices.
• Desired experience in supporting VA, VHA, federal behavioral health, or suicide prevention initiatives.
• Desired experience with federal COR oversight frameworks and Performance Work Statements.
• Desired knowledge of VistA, CDW, or VA Salesforce-based case management systems.
• Desired experience utilizing Agile, hybrid, or iterative project management methodologies in federal health IT or clinical settings.
• Desired understanding of federal health policy, Veterans mental health initiatives, or best practices in behavioral health care management.
