Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the full cycle of project delivery, starting with the development of the Project Charter and Project Plan

• Facilitate team meetings and monitor tasks and issues through an Action Log

• Monitor project milestones and deliverables

• Execute risk management and develop contingency plans

• Hold lessons learned sessions at the conclusion of projects

• Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders

• Establish and consistently manage project expectations

• Assign tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate team members

• Identify and address issues and conflicts within the project team

• Recognize and manage project dependencies and critical paths

• Plan and outline project timelines and milestones using suitable tools

• Create and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations

• Actively manage changes in project scope and formulate contingency plans

• Define success criteria for projects and disseminate them throughout the project life cycle

• Conduct project postmortem analyses and generate recommendations reports

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, healthcare, or a relevant combination of education and work experience from a four-year institution

• Alternatively, 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare or business, specifically managing IT projects or technology deployment initiatives

• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or actively pursuing it

• At least 2 years of prior experience in project support with similar responsibilities and/or training, or a relevant combination of education and experience

• Exceptional communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills

• Familiarity with project management tools and/or software applications

• Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Ability to quickly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities

• Skill in obtaining cooperation from senior management and various departments

• Demonstrated self-motivation and capacity to work independently

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to exhaust all resources when troubleshooting issues

• Customer-focused approach

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ownership and follow-through on various issues

• Effective time management capabilities
