This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and manage the entire project delivery process, encompassing the development of the Project Charter and Project Plan.
• Facilitate team meetings and monitor tasks and issues through an Action Log.
• Keep track of milestones and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Execute risk management strategies and develop contingency plans.
• Host lessons learned sessions at the conclusion of projects.
• Communicate project expectations promptly and clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Establish and consistently manage project expectations.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to suitable personnel.
• Identify and address issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Recognize and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones utilizing appropriate tools.
• Create and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively handle changes in project scope and formulate contingency plans.
• Define criteria for project success and communicate these throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct project postmortems and develop recommendation reports.
• A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in a technical or healthcare field, or a comparable combination of education and work experience.
• Alternatively, 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare or business, with substantial experience managing IT projects or technology deployment initiatives.
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or actively pursuing it.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in project support, along with appropriate training, or a similar combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with project management tools and/or software applications.
• Experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to quickly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
• Capacity to gain cooperation from senior management and other departments.
• Proven ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to exhaust all resources when addressing issues.
• A customer-focused approach.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ownership and follow-through on various issues.
• Effective time management skills.
• Up to 50% travel required, including overnight stays.
