Project Management Analyst 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the status of projects and budgets, manage timelines, and generate status reports.

• Identify project challenges and devise solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.

• Create systems for monitoring project advancement and facilitate intervention and problem-solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

• Supervise and handle the operational elements of ongoing projects.

• Act as a communication link between project management and planning, the project team, and line management.

• Assist in the creation of contract-required deliverables, including technical direction plans, rough order of magnitude pricing, and risk-register management.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned or required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 1 year of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 7 years of relevant experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in supporting complex technical projects and/or programs within the Department of Defense (DOD).

• Proficient in Microsoft Project and other project management software.

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Solid understanding of tools such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively within a functionally diverse team.

• Robust working knowledge of DOD project management standards, risk management practices, and compliance requirements.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

• Preferred: Hold and maintain a Secret Clearance.

• Preferred: Project Management Professional or another project management certification.

• Preferred: Familiarity with DOD-specific project management methodologies, processes, and reporting tools such as MS Projects.
