Project Lead Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee client engagements, assisting private equity investors and technology firms in understanding, enhancing, and generating value through technology.

• Facilitate discussions with senior clients, synthesizing data and delivering clear, actionable recommendations.

• Evaluate strategy, product and engineering capabilities, architecture, delivery performance, data, cyber risk, scalability, technical debt, and operating models.

• Convert technical insights into commercial impacts concerning growth, customer outcomes, margins, investment risks, timing, capital needs, and value generation.

• Cultivate and implement a recognized area of expertise.

• Collaborate with investment teams, management teams, and Crosslake colleagues across technical, commercial, operational, and financial domains.

• Independently manage complex client projects from initial scoping to high-quality delivery.

• Oversee client service, project management, team leadership, and commercial insights.

• Establish credibility with senior investors, boards, and management teams.

• Produce succinct reports, executive presentations, and workshops.

• Conduct technical due diligence to uncover significant risks and opportunities.

• Assist clients in prioritizing actions for post-deal value creation.

• Contribute to commercial diligence, investment thesis, and value creation initiatives.

• Direct multidisciplinary teams and facilitate integrated discussions with clients.

• Foster Crosslake's growth by building client relationships, developing propositions, and mentoring colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in technology consulting, technology due diligence, technology strategy, digital transformation, or technology leadership.

• Proven history of leading client-facing workstreams or engagements, managing senior stakeholders, and producing high-quality, decision-ready deliverables.

• Strong foundational knowledge in technology and demonstrable expertise in at least one functional area, such as product and engineering, architecture and cloud, data and AI, cybersecurity, delivery, or technology operating model.

• Significant experience in a business domain, including Insurance, capital markets, healthcare, logistics, and supply chain.

• Capability to navigate confidently between technical details and business discussions.

• Prior experience with private equity, transaction advisory, corporate development, or high-growth technology organizations is highly preferred.

• Exceptional structured thinking, written communication, and presentation abilities.

• A collaborative and action-oriented approach, with the confidence to constructively challenge ideas.

• A keen curiosity to expand knowledge beyond initial areas of expertise.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to cultivate client relationships, lead teams, and enhance broader commercial and technology value creation efforts.
