Project Implementation Manager III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead client implementations from the handoff from Business Development through kickoff, requirements confirmation, planning, configuration, validation, training, go-live, closeout, and transition to ongoing support.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing status updates and maintaining meeting documentation.

• Develop and uphold project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items across multiple simultaneous project streams.

• Coordinate with implementation engineers, configuration specialists, validation experts, Account Management, Business Development, Technical Support, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.

• Collect and sustain client requirements; assist in scoping and estimation; ensure internal reviews and client approvals are confirmed.

• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, resource needs, project health, and deliverable completion; escalate risks along with corrective and preventive measures.

• Ensure alignment of work with Statements of Work, client commitments, internal protocols, and Service Level Agreement requirements.

• Manage the preparation, review, approval, and delivery of implementation and validation documentation.

• Facilitate workflow configuration, configuration freeze, change control, production setup, release readiness, and project closure.

• Review project time records and relevant invoices; communicate budget status and assist in change-order or work-stoppage decisions.

• Provide system administration training and product demonstrations; contribute to the development of training materials and videos.

• Maintain a working knowledge of PSC Software products, implementation methods, and regulated life sciences environments.

• Coordinate upgrades, respond to client inquiries, and manage the transition to post-go-live support and Account Management.

• Utilize ACE, Wrike, JIRA, Freshdesk, and other internal project, customer, and support systems.

• Advocate for client needs while balancing contractual scope, quality, delivery constraints, and business requirements.

• Travel as necessary and perform other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• A minimum of five years of experience in SaaS implementation, client services, customer support, project management, or a closely related field.

• Proven experience leading multiple concurrent client projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in leading client meetings and delivering training or presentations.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through abilities.

• Ability to coordinate and delegate tasks across cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority.

• Capability to quickly learn complex software and explain system functionality to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues across different time zones and consistently adhere to the schedule assigned for the selected position.

• Preferred: PMP, CAPM, or a comparable project management certification.

• Preferred: Three or more years of experience with enterprise SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS solutions in the life sciences sector.

• Preferred: Experience supporting regulated GxP environments and software implementation or validation deliverables.

• Preferred: Knowledge of enterprise software configuration, requirements management, validation, change control, and release or upgrade processes.

• Preferred: Experience with project management, ticketing, and collaboration platforms such as Wrike, JIRA, Freshdesk, or similar tools.
