Project Implementation Manager III

📋 Description

• Oversee client implementations from the handoff by Business Development through to kickoff, requirements affirmation, planning, configuration, validation, training, go-live, closeout, and transition to ongoing support.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing status updates and documenting meeting notes.

• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items across multiple concurrent project streams.

• Collaborate with implementation engineers, configuration specialists, validation specialists, Account Management, Business Development, Technical Support, Accounting, and other internal stakeholders.

• Collect and maintain client requirements; assist with scoping and estimation; ensure internal reviews and client approvals are secured.

• Track scope, schedule, budget, resources, project health, and completion of deliverables; escalate risks along with corrective and preventive measures.

• Ensure all work is in accordance with the signed Statement of Work, client commitments, internal protocols, and Service Level Agreement requirements.

• Coordinate the preparation, review, approval, and delivery of implementation and validation documents.

• Manage workflow configuration, configuration freeze, change control, production setup, release readiness, and project closeout.

• Review project time records and relevant invoices; communicate budget statuses and assist with change-order or work-stoppage decisions.

• Conduct system administration training and product demonstrations; contribute to the development of training materials and videos.

• Maintain a solid understanding of PSC Software products, implementation methodologies, and regulated life sciences environments.

• Facilitate upgrades, respond to client inquiries, and oversee the transition to post-go-live support and Account Management.

• Utilize ACE, Wrike, JIRA, Freshdesk, and other internal systems accurately.

• Balance client requirements with contractual scope, quality expectations, delivery limitations, and PSC business needs.

• Travel as necessary and perform additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, business, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Minimum of five years of experience in SaaS implementation, client services, customer support, project management, or a closely related field.

• Proven experience leading multiple simultaneous client projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in leading client meetings and delivering training or presentations.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through capabilities.

• Ability to coordinate and delegate tasks among cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority.

• Quick learner of complex software with the ability to explain system functionalities to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capacity to work effectively with clients and colleagues across different time zones, while consistently adhering to the schedule assigned to the selected role.

• PMP, CAPM, or a similar project management certification is preferred.

• Three or more years of experience with enterprise SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS solutions in the life sciences sector is preferred.

• Experience supporting regulated GxP environments and software implementation or validation deliverables is preferred.

• Familiarity with enterprise software configuration, requirements management, validation, change control, and release or upgrade processes is preferred.

• Proficiency with project management, ticketing, and collaboration platforms such as Wrike, JIRA, Freshdesk, or similar tools is preferred.
